Connally will be the featured guest in a ceremony celebrating Natural Bridge Cavern's
40 th anniversary on Thursday, June 10 at 10:30 a.m. on the grounds of the attraction.

Governor Connally signed 40 years ago during the anniversary ceremony.
"To share in the history of Natural Bridge Caverns is a special opportunity for me and my
family," said Connally, who at 85 is currently on a booksigning
tour promoting her
publication From Love Field: Our Final Hours with President John F. Kennedy.
"The focus of this event is the Legacy of Texas Families," said Brad Wuest, president of
Natural Bridge Caverns, a thirdgeneration
family member to own and operate Texas'
largest cavern system. Along with brother Travis and mother Joye, the Wuest family has
defined their role as stewards of one the nation' premier show caves.
"Natural Bridge Caverns has always been about family
and those we have the
privilege of hosting," said Wuest, whose attraction averages over 250,000 visitors per
year.
In addition to traditional walking tours, NBC offers a novel Adventure Tour for the more
daring, gemstone and fossil panning at Texas' largest mining sluice, and their
Watchtower Challenge boasts the largest outdoor climbing tower in Texas.
